Artist Statement:

Stepping off the bus and into The Palace felt like we had arrived at the natural home for Priscilla, a place which was as lavishly painted as Felicia and Mitzy themselves. Photographing the characters explore the hotel by day in full drag was a complete joy, with a creative explosion of colour and landscape on every wall. Broken Hill was the first major stop in our filming odyssy and the adventure had truly begun.
