Terence Stamp, Guy Pearce and Hugo Weaving film the minibar scene in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, The Palace Hotel 1993

After the long drive from Sydney, stepping into the Palace felt like we had arrived at the natural home for Priscilla, a place which was as lavishly decorated as Mitzy, Bernadette and Tick themselves. Photographing the characters explore the hotel by day dressed in drag was a complete joy, an explosion of colour and landscape on almost every wall. The hotel suite was a perfect setting for these three to get the party started.
