Queens lounging

Guy Pearce, Terence Stamp and Hugo Weaving rehearse a scene in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Hotel Suite, The Palace Hotel. Broken Hill, 1993.

The hotel, with its lavish painting on every wall, was a perfect playground for the characters to explore, an explosion of colour and texture rivalling even the highest wigs and outlandish creations they wore for the occasion. Photographing Felicia, Bernadette and Mitzy inside the hotel in drag was a complete joy and the party was just getting started.
